Chocolate Festivals:
Annual ChocolateFest
Come March, Dallas and Fort Worth residents won’t know what to do with two days of chocolaty goodness in the air!
Day 1 consists of an Evening of Chocolate and Wine. From 7-10pm, ticket holders are invited to sample fine chocolates, while tasting wine from La Buena Vida Vineyards in their souvenir wine glass. Along with a variety of hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction, and live entertainment, there is also a celebrity judging and people’s choice contest for the best chocolate. Day 1 tickets cost $50 and are an adult only event. Day 2 tickets cost $15 for adults and $5 for children 7 and under. Tickets for day 2 include 10 samples for adults and 3 for children. All proceeds benefit the Travelers Foundation.
Day 2 is entitled a Day of Chocolate and Art, lasts from 10:30am-3:30pm and is full of family fun! Along with the continuation of chocolate sampling, attendees have the opportunity to browse art exhibits and even purchase some if they desire. There will also be commemorative chocolate containers for sale that make as great Dallas gifts, a variety of contests and activities, and more live entertainment.
